VERNFOLD Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Data on your device
VERNFOLD requires no VERNFOLD account and operates no developer backend. The app does not send your personal data to a VERNFOLD server and includes no advertising or analytics tracking. Your selected city, language, saved venues, notes, visit dates, lists, plans and map cache are stored locally. Free-city eligibility is also kept in your device’s secure storage. You can remove saved items in the app. Uninstalling removes local app data, but some secure-storage records may remain.
Optional location
With permission, the app uses your location to display your position and help order planned venues. It does not save a location history or request background location access. You can revoke permission in iOS Settings and continue selecting cities manually. VERNFOLD does not send your location to a developer-operated server.
Purchases
Annual subscriptions and purchase restoration are processed by Apple StoreKit. VERNFOLD does not receive your complete payment details.
Third-party services
Embedded maps and walking routes use Apple MapKit and are subject to Apple’s privacy practices. Venue addresses, contact details and hours are merged from provider and official-guide records into the app catalogue; third-party map search buttons are not shown. Links you choose to open may lead to Apple Maps for directions, venue websites and booking services. The selected service receives destination or reservation information and applies its own privacy policy.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send so we can respond and resolve your request. Your email provider and ours process the message. We do not use support correspondence for advertising. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
For questions or requests to access, correct or delete information you have emailed us, contact kevinchan94by@gmail.com. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and any applicable legal obligations.

These support pages contain no advertising, analytics scripts or forms. The hosting service processes technical connection information needed to serve the pages and protect its service.
